What we collect
We keep an account email and a secure password so you can sign in. For each child profile we ask only for a first name, school grade, and an optional school name. We keep reading activity (stories finished and quiz results) so the app can show progress and suggest what to read next.
What we do not collect
We do not collect locations, browsing history, or any child's personal data beyond what is described above. We never ask for a child's full name, photo, or birth date. Please do not enter sensitive information into a child profile.
Website analytics
We use privacy-friendly visitor analytics on our public website to understand what pages people find useful. No ad targeting, no cross-site tracking, and children's app data is never involved.
How we use it
Your information is used only to run the app: sign-in, progress, and story recommendations. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone. We do not use it for advertising.

Children's privacy
Patient Owl is designed for parents and guardians to use with their children. Accounts are created and managed by the responsible adult. If you believe a child has shared information through the app, contact us and we will remove it.
